It’s quite versatile, and you can go fully contactless with it. Let’s explore more!
What Is Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a mobile payment system that lets you use your iPhone to pay for things. You can use your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch to make physical payments in stores, online, or in apps. As a mobile payment solution, Apple Pay links to your credit cards and payment channels like PayPal. Thanks to contactless NFC technology, it makes shopping a breeze with tap-and-go purchases.
How To Use Apple Pay with N26
Linking your N26 account to Apple Pay is straightforward and takes only a few minutes:
Activate your Apple Pay account before you can use it. In the N26 app, go to the Actions menu and select Card Settings. Tap the Add to Apple Pay button to add it to your account.
Make a copy of the data and double-check it. It’ll automatically fill in your card details for you.
Organize your wallet’s money. That’s the end of the story! In your wallet, you have access to all of your data.
How To Get Started With Apple Pay
Apple Pay is appealing because of the practically infinite possibilities it provides. Place your Apple smartphone near the reader, verify with your PIN, biometric identity, or FaceID, and you’re good to go. In apps that allow Apple Pay, you can use it to order food or a taxi.
Apple Pay and Banks
In many European countries, Apple Pay and banks N26 are integrated. Because N26 accepts Apple Pay, you’ll be able to keep track of your transactions as they happen in real-time. For example, if you order food from Deliveroo, go to Starbucks for a coffee, or book an Airbnb room, you’ll get a push notification on your phone right away.
Is Apple Pay Widely Accepted?
Apple Pay is widely used all around the world. It works in stores that display the Apple Pay or contactless card icon. It operates in the same way as a credit card: You simply hold it in your palm and walk away. At stores like MediaMarkt, C&A, Fnac, Zara, and Lidl, you can pay with your phone. A complete list is also available on the Apple Pay website.
Apple Pay can also be used in any app that allows it. Just tap the “Buy with Apple Pay” or “Apple Pay” button at checkout and that’s it. To ensure that your order is delivered to the correct address, double-check your payment and shipping details.
What Else You Need To Know
Finally, on your Mac or other devices, you may use Apple Pay in Safari. On your device or phone, look for the Apple Pay or “Buy with Apple Pay” button, then click and confirm. If your Mac doesn’t have Touch ID, you’ll be asked to authenticate the purchase on your phone, watch, or iPad.
