10 Safest Countries in the World: 2021 Rankings

According to this year’s report, the average level of global peacefulness deteriorated by 0.07 percent. The report states that this is mainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns and economic uncertainty caused civil unrest in 2020. However, Iceland has succeeded to remain the most peaceful country in the world. Iceland is followed by New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal, and Slovenia.
